Cagdas Senis’s review, August 2020 Head of Business Transformation, Metrobank
“Emma is an amazing communicator. She has helped me with developing my career whether it be finding a new job or getting a promotion. She also has supported me with my leadership communications, giving and taking feedback, and business presentation. She has extensive international corporate experience in addition to her career in training actors. This unique combination of skills has been very valuable as she devised novel ways to coach me. One example was her voice warm up and posture exercises to prepare me for executive meetings. These showed instant results as they enabled me to sound more confident and communicate with much better articulation. Overall a great individual to work with who offers great value as a coach.”
Olivia Santoni, May 2021 CEO, Bloom Regulatory Ltd
“My name is Olivia Santoni, I am the CEO of a consultancy company and a French national and have been in the UK for over 12 years. My English grammar is good and I consider myself to be fluent but I wanted to improve my English pronunciation to ensure that my UK, USA and European customers understand all the subtleties of the services my organisation offers.
I contacted Emma to improve my English pronunciation and accent and some of the feedback she gave me was eye opening and really improved my communication skills.
I also do a lot of presentations face to face or on Zoom therefore being as clear as possible online is very important. Emma helped me to improve through easy quick wins that also helped me with my presentation skills.
She is a wonderful coach as she also adapted to my needs by using specific terminology from my technical background (chemistry and law) not just my everyday words.
I definitely would recommend Emma to anyone trying to improve their pronunciation and confidence.

International Actress, Spain
“Emma helped me to get clarity in English pronunciation and voice projection. I am Spanish so I have always had problems with English pronunciation. Emma has helped me through the execution of the different English sounds to achieve a suitable structure for the execution of them. Due to the excellent training I received with her at the acting school and her understanding of my needs and difficulties to achieve my goals, currently she is my acting voice coach. My goal as an actress is to be able to speak fluently in English with a perfect pronounciation and accent, so that I can work both in England and in America. Emma is working with me now the American accent because it’s where I’m getting auditions right now. I am very happy because I am getting results in a very short time and this is due to its progressive system of work. It’s great to have Emma as a voice coach because she not only helps me with the accent work, but she also helps me prepare the auditions and the scripts. For me this is one of the most important points, Emma is my professional support to grow professionally as an actress.

“Emma was a fresh and young face to out third year BA acting program. I remember the whole class being very happy, after two years of “the usual”, we finally had something to look forward to. Emma has a very modern approach to make me exploring my voice, its abilities and the meaning that can have if we use it differently. I loved that every class was connected, but we would always do something new, unless we had an assignment or something to work on. Her assignment made groups join together, let us all work outside of class and inside under her attentive supervision making us even ask to repeat some exercises because we enjoyed them so much. We all rapped Shakespeare and made songs with our voices, I remember that with my dyslexia it was hard for me to memorize Shakespeare. And I was never putting myself forward to be the “main” performer in the assignments. But after we tried all in class, I realized I was good at rapping it! So I’ve put myself out there and I tried. For me it was a great achievement. We also learnt to listen and appreciate to each other’s voice, we were ending the classes making sit one person in the center of the room with eyes closed, and then all of us were going closer or far, with soft or stringer tones, sounds or words. And we were going around the person creating this random melody, that was beautiful. The class was looking forward to explore what else could’ve come out of that circle! We did also so many text studies and analysis. We were applying the right enunciation, sound and tones to our words, to emphasize the meaning of it. Still now I use those exercises to study my texts. Emma made me consider going to study voice as a master degree. She is very passionate and with her love for teaching, the variety, modernity and knowledge she made me see the “voice class” with different eyes. The whole class wished we had her much earlier, we heard what the previous years were doing with her and it was sounding so sad that we didn’t have it. Outside of uni, when I graduated, I also contacted her to help me why my Italian accent. She gave me so much to work on, I understood the way of my tongue position and how to change it. Everyday this comes to my mind when I’m speaking and I try to soften my accent. Emma is constantly very involved in sessions, classes and people out there that share the same love as her. Any school would be lucky to have her as well as any student.
